Insurance Practitioners Association of Turkey kindly invites you to the “XIII. International İstanbul Insurance Conference” which will be held on the 5^th of October 2021.

The “Webinar” conference will be on the theme “Climate Change and Natural Disasters, A New Risk Approach in Insurance and Reinsurance World”.

Climate change and extreme weather events have caused an increase in natural disasters over the past few years. Expectedly, these high intensity events have led insurers and reinsurers to reconsider their approach to climate risks. Experts are consistently seeking for new ways to remove uncertainty for such risks.

The webinar will be a platform to exchange ideas by distinguished speakers from Turkey and Global Insurance & Reinsurance markets.

At the beginning of the conference, an informative session will be held by;

- Chairman of the Association of the Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Companies of Turkey,

- Deputy Chairman of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey.

In the 1^st session; underwriting, pricing and modelling aspect of climate change and natural disasters will be discussed with experts around the world. It will be followed by another session about claims and risk management.

This Conference brings together the supervisory authorities, insurers, reinsurers, brokers, NGOs and press.
